I know this topic has been discussed many times on different threads, but I want to focus on this so that everyone. Lurkers and new members alike would benefit.
A new world has opened up!
When I got Gerry Griffin's complete card magic DVD set, I knew I was in for a classic treat. The first DVD was full of tricks, but none of those uses DLs, card control, false cuts and shuffles. All of them are very simple but relies heavily on presentation. I said to myself "Bakit hindi ako dumaan sa ganitong format?" I guess my life would be easier kung alam ko talaga ang pinaka basics ng card magic...which does not have sleights at all...but focuses on presentation, card placements and deck awareness. Most of them are simple, self working, and uses the K** C*** Principle (KCP).
Do we always want to run when we are still learning to walk? Naiisip ko lng :)
